The Chabad Jewish Center of Solon is a religious center located in the heart of Solon that offers weekly services, Hebrew classes, after school care, and a preschool for North-East Ohio Jewish residents.
The congregation needed additional room to host larger holiday services, commemorate lifecycle events, and host kiddushes after services. Due to a substantial increase in their community, they’re no longer able to hold their events in the basement.
After an 11,000 square foot addition was approved by the Solon City Council in early 2021, the Chabad hired architect Ron Kluchin and general contractor Marous Brothers Construction.
AIR was subcontracted by Marous Brothers Construction to work on the social hall itself, as well as the breezeway that connected the two buildings.
Marous Brothers Construction chose AIR due to our industry experience, previous working relationship, and reasonable pricing.
As part of the construction, AIR’s team did all of the interior and exterior framing, drywall work, and constructed the entire acoustic ceiling.
In doubling the size of the synagogue in the expansion, Miriam Greenberg said it’s like “witnessing a new beginning.”
